1. Who we are
NUOS is operated by NUOS IoT Systems Private Limited, an Indian company designing and building luxury home automation. Our office is at Unit 234, A to Z Industrial Estate, GK Marg, Lower Parel West, Mumbai 400 013, Maharashtra, India.

2. What we collect, and why
Consultation and enquiry forms — name, email, phone, project city and project type. Used only to reply to your enquiry and, if you opt in, to share future updates about NUOS.
WhatsApp and phone conversations — content of the messages you send us, used to serve you and to improve customer support. We do not sell or lease these conversations.
Configurator saves — the switch configuration you save locally in your browser (stored on your device, not our servers, until you send it to us with an enquiry).
Cookies and site analytics — pages visited, referrer, approximate location (city-level) and device information, only if you accept analytics or marketing cookies. See section 4.
3. How we use it
To respond to enquiries, arrange consultations at your residence or our Mumbai experience centre, and provide product support.
To improve the site — understand which sections resonate with architects, homeowners and design partners.
To share future NUOS updates by email, phone, or WhatsApp, only where you have given consent.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Cookies
Necessary cookies — keep the site running (session, security, load balancing). Always on.
Analytics cookies — help us understand aggregated site behaviour. Optional. Disabled until you accept.
Marketing cookies — allow us to build design-partner audiences on platforms like Meta and Google. Optional. Disabled until you accept.
You can change your choice any time via the "Necessary only" or "Accept all" controls that appear the first time you visit. Clearing cookies for this site will re-prompt you.
5. Service providers we use
Cloud infrastructure and web hosting for the site itself.
MongoDB Atlas — stores enquiries, testimonials and journal content.
Cloudinary — hosts images and downloadable brochures.
OpenAI — powers the on-site AI concierge and the editorial composer that our own team uses to draft the journal. Messages exchanged in the chatbot are processed by OpenAI under their standard business terms.
Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel) — only if you have accepted analytics/marketing cookies.
YouTube — embedded customer testimonials use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to projects@nuos.in with the request.
You can unsubscribe from any NUOS newsletter using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 governs how we handle your personal data. We aim to respond to every rights request within 30 days.
7. How long we keep information
Enquiry data — up to 3 years, then anonymised or deleted.
Configurator saves — stored on your device until you clear browser data.
Analytics data — up to 26 months, aggregated and non-identifying.
8. Security
We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest, restricted database access, and short-lived JWT sessions for admin CMS access. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat these safeguards as non-negotiable.
9. Changes to this policy
When we materially change how we use information, we’ll update this page and note the date below. Small edits for clarity happen without notice.
